I have not much time to write this one, really! The real deal starts in a few hours time! I cannot wait for this MST week to end! After this week, work and photoshoots!

I love my workplace. And all my previous workplaces. Is it just me, or does all the ’superfantabulous’ people stick well with me?

Here is an update guys:

I am at the airport right now! I snubbed the chance of being at home just to do some last minute cramming before my Introductary Ocular Microbiology paper later on. See the convenience of working at the airport? So after work, I just told my mother I would skip dinner. I love this spot totally, but I am so not going to reveal this place. Go find it yourself.

I am a little busy at the moment now with work, play, and a little study now and then.

But the best thing that happened this week was my latest acquisition of the Speedlite 430EX II.

So it does not sound like a big deal to you all?

It definitely is for me.

Oh, you touched my sweet spot..

I should be happy and just hush hush. The highest rank it got to was 241st, and that was right after it was briefly kicked out of the Top 500. Now that it is back in the list, I hope it will just stay there a little longer or maybe even go higher up the rung!

And being on Shuttercrack — one of my favourite photo sites — was like a dream come true. I seriously did not expect HEART to go this far but I guess Flickr will always keep surprising us!

But this would not have happened if not for the tremendous amount of support from all of you guys!

Thank you, thank you for making me so excited I even dreamt about it!

Things are not so right at home now. But I shall take heart and have faith in everything. Even if it goes wrong, we will stand strong and work hard.

Life is not that bad actually, just a little tough right now..

This was the first time I received something else other than whatever she was selling. It was supposed to represent a fruit, and it was actually made of balloon and leaves.

It was a touching reminder that for every ounce of help we offer them, no matter how little, it will always bear a lovely fruit called hope.

She left me looking at the ground all the way back home after that..

Congratulations to the winners of SP Most Photogenic 2009, M3 Keith and F4 Petrine!

All good things must come to an end though, and it was fun while it lasted. It was great to have found lovely new buddies like classmates Hisyam and Jamie who were finalists M1 and F1 respectively; and to have worked hard with the other SP Photographers was an experience never to be forgotten too.

Especially when playing with the studio equipment! KENDRICK! :)

It was also a time full of trials; a time that revealed who our true friends were. Seriously. What does not not kill, will only make one stronger. And someone had to learn that the harsh way. Of course I was disappointed but I do hope that we all learn and extract something valuable from this misfortune.

Ah. Forget it man.

(My wife gets handled by alot of people, seriously. But I guess sharing is caring! :D)

But there were definitely more magical moments for us to find comfort in! Like real ones! Like how my instant films could pop out of my Instax just like that! Developed right away infront of someone somemore! Real fun! Real joy! MARCUS! ;)

And we will hopefully remember only those times that made us happy. Not the negatives. Forget the negatives. We cannot afford to be sad. We need to move on.

And we will never be foolish again..

My knees almost gave way while I was sleeping standing up in the train ride home just now, I must have looked like a retard! Best part, it happened so many times I thought I must have had amused the people around me. So embarassing!!

(The problem with vertically-challenged people like Jamie is that they will always end up being my armrest instead!)

All because I stayed up the whole night yesterday. Have I mentioned anywhere that I just love being awake in the early mornings? It is the only time of the day when no one else will bother me except the stupid mosquitoes which will die prematurely anyway thanks to my saviour, the great, the burning mosquito coils.

Sometimes, you will get a hint of that smoky smell on my shirt or bag.

I do not smoke by the way, so now you know where that funky smell sometimes came from!

I really am not a smoker, and will plan to stay that way!

Nothing much happened at school except for Shirlena’s Microbiology practical, SPMP Roadshow Day 2 and filming for Microbiology’s VG. I was practically dragging my dead body around as I nearly succumbed to my heavy eyelids. I do not mind being hungry all day, but to be as sleepy as just now was such a massive burden!

So fortunately, I had someone by the name of Jamie Victoria Guna who literally punched me out of my snooze mode. This SPMP finalist is crazy. No girl can be spunkier and rougher than her. And the more you all should vote for her. Her code is F1!

Today will be the final day of our SPMP roadshow. Our booth will be located at FC5 so do come down to show your support for the finalists and vote for the worthy Most Photogenic SP student!

And Jamie, if you want the iPod nano, bring your army along!
